SmartStrut^TM is a tubular carbon fiber helix strut that can be manufactured in multiple diameters and strengths and used to replace almost any strut application.  SmartStrut^TM has its' roots in the aerospace industry, is noted for its incredible strength to weight ratio and can replace a component weighing thousands of pounds with one that is stronger and weighs one twentieth or even less than the replaced material. The applications for this product are only limited by convention.

 

Carbon fiber has proven strength characteristics and has historically used a labor intensive hand-lay up manufacturing technique to produce structures similar to the SmartStrut^TM product.
