Lightest and strongest in the market – C6 delivers a 45 foot utility pole that weighs less than 30 pounds to compete with wood poles (90% market share) that weigh 1,100 pounds; the SmartStrutTM product will be stronger and easier to design around due to its’ consistent and predictable engineering characteristics.
Easy to transport and deliver to the installation location – A 45 foot SmartStrutTM pole does not require any equipment to handle it and can be hauled on a light weight trailer with no special permits or provisions. The modularity of the product allows the end user to add to the 45’ base by adding “snap on” modules in 10 or 20 foot lengths to build a tower to the required height. The savings in transportation, handling and inventory costs are very significant.
Can be installed by hand in difficult terrain – the poles can be hand carried and erected in difficult locations due to its light weight.
Durable, long life and easily repaired – the initial expected life of the C6 pole is 50 years which meets or exceeds the life cycle of every other competitive product. The helix design allows for relatively easy field repairs using readily available materials and repair collars provided by C6.
Lowest installation cost – the SmartStrutTM pole costs less than every competitive product with the exception of wood, but when adding installation costs the SmartPoleTM is the least expensive of all pole products by a wide margin.
